Max Owens is a Corporate Development leader at StarCity Behavioral Health, where he oversees financing activities, inorganic growth initiatives, and regulatory matters supporting the organization’s expansion across licensed levels of care. 

Max holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia, with a concentration in Finance, and brings 5+ years of end-to-end Mergers & Acquisitions experience in the Telecommunications sector, covering deal origination, valuation, diligence, negotiation, and post-close integration. He also worked in New York City as a Corporate Development Manager for a publically traded technology company, further strengthening his ability to evaluate growth opportunities, platform economics, and scalable operating models.

After transitioning into behavioral healthcare, Max has applied institutional-grade M&A and corporate development expertise to a mission-driven setting, helping scale access to care while maintaining financial discipline and regulatory compliance.
